The upcoming game runs from August 30 through September 1, 2008. Here is a brief synopsis of the next game:
''Dark forces are gathering…'' The whispers of the frightened populace ring in your ears. The place once called ''Home'' has been defiled by this growing shadow, a threat unchallenged and undefeated. Your dreams are haunted by the faces of children and families fleeing their homes; a waking nightmare that cannot be ignored. Destiny seems to conspire against you as your steps turn to confront this threat in the night. But the burden of responsibility seems to lift as your gaze is drawn to the Heavens. Somehow, the knowledge that salvation is close at hand seems to encourage those around you. As your destination draws near, a recollection of the past returns. Happiness, childhood, friendship, these things seem so far away, and yet agonizingly close. What can be done, when all that is left to you are the memories of days gone by…

Hello everyone!
We will be coming back fresh from a two month break August 1st at the Atlanta chapter of SOLAR - Southern Organization of Live Action Reenactments. The event will be held at Indian Springs State Park outside of Jackson, GA (exit 205 on I-75). We have directions on our website -

After a fantastic Festival event in May, we expect players to come back with a renewed vigor. Expect politics, monsters, and mayhem, driven by Plot and the players themselves!
Now would be the perfect time for new players to come get familiar with the game. SOLAR Clanthia has a 16 year history, but with plenty of room for more people to come and add to the story! We have people who commute from Florida, Alabama, the Carolinas, even Missouri and California!

Time is running out!
Lullaby of Broadway, the live action roleplaying game where you play characters from some of Broadway’s most beloved plays, is casting at the end of the month!
What does that mean? Well, in Lullaby of Broadway, all of the characters are written by the GMs and given a complex, intricate back story, and the focus of the LARP will be interactions with other characters.
And we are assigning characters to players at the end of April. You have a great deal of input and tell us what you want and we give you the best match we can.
How many open slots are left? As of this writing, we have fewer than 20 open slots left, and they’ll be going fast.
Lullaby of Broadway runs September 19-21 in Timonium, Maryland. It costs $25 to register and you pay the balance at the door. The balance depends on how much you help out the game, and will typically run between $25-$50.

Wyvern Rising is a medieval LARP operating in North-East/Central Pennsylvania. We are an established LARP with a reputation for fun and a great community of players. Wyvern events last an entire weekend (from Friday to Sunday afternoon!) and use live-combat (boffer) rules with an emphasis on great role-playing to be immersed in our on-going plot.
To celebrate the start of our fifth season, the weekend event fee will be waived for ALL new players during our first weekend event (April 11-13)!

Dagorhir expands in the Western New York Area!
Tartarus Invictus is the Buffalo chapter of Dagorhir battle games. Dagorhir offers fast paced, hard-hitting, live combat with padded weapons, and a low fantasy setting. The Buffalo chapter hosts roughly 60 members of all ages and experience. Join one of the many established units, form a new unit, or fight alone. Tartarus Invictus holds multiple weekly practices, monthly battles, and attends many out of chapter events. Comes check out the Tartarus Invictus forums for lists of practice and battle dates.

Sepia is a new chronicle set in White Wolf's Old World of Darkness, but rather than it being set in the Goth-Punk world of the published materials, we will be exploring a Gothic-Pulp theme. Set in the 1920s Sepia allows us to play up a different set of Moods and Themes, many of which from a LARP perspective are traditionally done in CoC chronicles, but with more of a pulp flair that you migth get from movies such as The Mummy and The Shadow.

Frontiers is a live action role playing game based out of Southern Massachusetts. We aim to bring you some of the most exciting adventuring in the Northeast. Our campaign is unique in that it is a traveling adventure where you may never visit the same region twice. We will eventually settle down to a town setting and you will come upon towns here and there when our sites allow us. By using this method of live action we can bring you a rich world full of wonderous places, creatures, and peoples unique to a specific region. Not to mention the plot that also comes with being a stranger in a strange land. Our no level no class system allows players to create any character they wish without being labeled or limited. And with all the skills you will never have to make the same character twice. Owned and operated by William Blouin and David Courville , who have over 15 years live action role playing experience each. We have both written content for many of the multiple chapter icon Larps played today. We hope that this rich background will bring your fantasy adventures to life in a ways that you will remember and cherish for ages. Owlcon 2008 is coming! We have begun accepting game submissions for this FEBRUARY 8-10, 2008 convention. Already, we have three larp games (two Minds Eye Theatre VAMPIRE events and one CTHULHU LIVE ACTION event). We are also expecting one FIREFLY/SERENITY event and one Minds Eye Theatre CHANGELING event.
